Richard K. Cavender, M.D. – Medical Director |
An avid athlete and fitness aficionado, Dr. Cavender pursed his love of exercise while establishing his career as an emergency medicine physician. A life-changing injury/disease process at the young age of 35, left him in intractable pain: unable to work effectively, exercise, or even to play with his children. Not satisfied with traditional medicine’s “wait and see” approach, Dr. Cavender sought a proactive treatment approach which would optimize his healing and quality of life potential. Thus began his research and training in the field of Age Management Medicine. Within months of initiating treatment, Dr. Cavender had achieved a nearly 95% recovery and resumed his active lifestyle nearly pain-free, including playing full contact football for a local police & fire charity event every year. Because of his personal experience, Dr. Cavender was inspired to bring this innovative philosophy of medicine to Central Ohio.
Dr. Cavender’s engaging personality, his cutting edge scientific and clinical expertise, and his passion for this type of therapeutic intervention make being his patient a truly powerful, pleasant, and life changing experience.
Dr. Cavender, his wife, Melissa, and their four children reside in New Albany. |
